PURDUE BOILERMAKERS
Jaekwon Bouldin: 73 Days until Purdue Football
The beast of an offensive lineman comes to Purdue from the JUCO ranks, namely Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
Bouldin was the sixth-ranked JUCO offensive tackle in the 2024 class. That’s a significant gain for a squad that requires assistance on the pitch. Bouldin will be offered every chance to play a major part on the Purdue team.
Purdue has suffered a number of injuries on the front line in recent years, including a handful of early retirements, so having depth at such an essential position is critical. Given his size, Bouldin will play tackle. Given his experience in the JUCO ranks, I expect him to compete for a starting job this season.
Given his JUCO experience and size, I would expect him to compete for a starting job this season. He’s a huge guy, and Purdue requires big guys up front to be productive.
He was part of a line that allowed his team to average 235 rushing yards and 210 passing yards. His attack is quite balanced, demonstrating his ability to sprint and pass block.
We’re interested to see what he can do this season.
